Relaxation massage is a smooth, comforting style of massage that allows the muscles in the body to let go. The massage techniques used encourage an increase in blood circulation, stimulates the release of good endorphins and enables the body to rest, recover & heal.

Remedial massage is a blend of relaxation massage with a focus to remedy a particular area or ailment in the body using deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy & stretching. Remedial techniques are used to encourage the natural healing process for the focus area and a treatment plan is devised between the therapist and client.

This type of massage is ideal for conditions such as sciatica, tension headaches or migraines, muscle tension/knots & postural ailments.

Please note that included in the one hour treatment is time for pre & post assessment of the condition, posture, range of motion & discussion. First consultations may require more pre-assessment time.

Pregnancy massage can assist our Mums to feel nurtured & relieved of aches & pains due to the extra demand pregnancy can place on the body. Using the side lying method, this beautiful, relaxation massage ensures our Mums-to-be comfort and safety at all times.

In many cultures, Postnatal Massage is used daily to assist with the mothers recovery after birth as part of their confinement period in the 4th trimester (or first 12 weeks post birth).

Postnatal massage is designed to help relieve and rebalance specific areas affected by pregnancy, birth & postpartum demands such as feeding & holding bub.

These areas include:

• The abdomen to assist in rebalancing the abdominal muscles

• C-section scars to assist with healing and adhesions

• Lower back/pelvic girdle pain

• Upper back & neck tension caused by feeding or poor posture

• Arms for carpal tunnel syndrome.

Home Visits

If leaving home in those early weeks of the 4th trimester brings anxiety, Postnatal Home Visits/Mobile Massage are also available to book for Postnatal treatments. Please send us an online enquiry to book a home visit appointment.
